Lead Systems Architect & Solutions Engineer

Reusable event operations platform built & deployed across 100+ physical-event engagements.
  • Worked directly with business stakeholders and operational teams to understand their processes and turn them into practical technical workflows.
  • Built web applications, business platforms, and REST APIs using PHP, JavaScript, Node.js, and MySQL/MariaDB.
  • Developed mobile interfaces and tablet check-in tools using Flutter and Kotlin.
  • Integrated third-party APIs including WhatsApp Business API, payment gateways such as Stripe, 2C2P, AXAipay, iPay88 and CIMB E-Commerce, and SQL Accounting.
  • Built Malaysia LHDN e-Invoice compliance workflows handling TIN/BRN validation, API submission, and QR code rendering.
  • Implemented AI customer support tools using RAG architecture and LLM APIs.
  • Built document processing pipelines using Tesseract OCR and LLMs to turn supplier invoices, POs, and receipts into structured records.
  • Researched, vetted, and imported custom hardware (touchscreen kiosks, POS terminals, thermal printers) directly from manufacturers in China, managing supplier communication, hardware specs, and logistics.
  • Configured network hardware and standalone kiosks for on-site event execution.
  • Deployed applications on AWS with load balancing for peak event traffic up to 10,000 visitors per day.
  • Provided hands-on technical support, staff training, and live system monitoring during event go-lives.

Selected to present technical engineering work at Sony STEF 2019 in Osaki, Tokyo.
  • Engineered automated video noise detection utilities using OpenCV and PSNR algorithms.
  • Wrote Node.js scripts to parse factory machine logs and output operational metrics into SQL dashboards.
